Privacy Policy

Who is responsible

Apex Gallery is operated by Teal Apex Solutions LLC, a Georgia limited liability company based in Columbia County, Georgia. Where a data protection law uses the term, Teal Apex Solutions LLC is the controller of the information described here.

What we collect

• Your name and your email address, given voluntarily when you take a key to enter the gallery.
• What you write in a question box, along with the site you were looking at when you wrote it, so the reply makes sense.
• A session cookie, which is what keeps you signed in as you move between pages. See the Cookie Notice.
• Ordinary server logs, held by our hosting provider, which include an IP address and a browser string, kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.

What we do not collect

No advertising identifiers. No third-party trackers. No behavioral profile. No cross-site following. No fingerprinting. There is no advertising pixel anywhere on this gallery, and there never will be.

The demonstration sites in the room ship with their measurement layer switched off. Walking through a showcase site does not feed an analytics product. The one exception is clearly labelled: the analytics report inside the Sole Atlas showcase runs on demonstration figures, generated for illustration, and contains no real person’s data.

Why we hold it

• To let you in. The gallery is gated so I know who is looking at the work.
• To answer you. A question with no email attached is a question I cannot reply to.
• To keep the site standing. Rate limiting and abuse prevention.

Where the law requires a legal basis, ours is your consent (given when you enter your details) and our legitimate interest in operating a secure showroom and replying to people who ask us things.

Marketing

We do not run a marketing list off this gallery, and entering the room does not subscribe you to anything. If that ever changes, it will be an explicit opt-in, and it will not be pre-ticked.

Who else sees it

Only the vendors it takes to run the thing: our hosting provider, our database provider, and our transactional email provider, each acting on our instructions. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your information with anyone else, for any purpose, ever. We have never received a government demand for user data. If we do, and we are permitted to tell you, we will.

How long we keep it

Your gallery account is kept while it is in use and for up to twenty-four months after your last visit, after which it is deleted. Questions you send, and my replies to them, are kept as ordinary business correspondence. Server logs roll off within thirty days.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it, and we will do it. You do not have to cite a statute and you will not be asked why. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws, and people in the UK and EU, have these rights in writing; we extend the same treatment to everybody. We do not sell personal information, and we do not process it for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.

To exercise any of this, ask on any card in the room, or write to Teal Apex Solutions LLC, Columbia County, Georgia. We answer within thirty days, usually the same day.

Children

This is a business showroom and it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has given us their details, tell us and we will delete it.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Sessions are held in an HTTP-only cookie that JavaScript cannot read. Database access is governed by row-level security, so an account can only ever reach its own record. No system is perfect and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something, but this one is built the way I would want mine built.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and the change is described here. We do not make material changes quietly.
